Feb 28th – Dream Academy’s Trailblazer Heads to Shanghai

A very proud moment for all at Dream Academy as our very first student got the opportunity to be the trailblazer and pioneer of our International Exchange program.
Gofaone Phatsima left Gaborone – Sir Seretse Khama airport on a journey to Shanghai, China to participate in a scholarship program. She joins the Gezhi International school for a semester abroad.
14 year old and an 8th grader, Gofaone is an outstanding student at Oodima Community Junior Secondary school, a school that has been adopted by Dream Academy to help develop the quality of education and infrastructure within the school. Recognized by her peers and faculty as the most outstanding student in a school of 520 students.
We are excited about Gofa being our first of many students to get this opportunity.
